Phoebe Cates appeared in popular 1980s movies like “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” and “Gremlins.” But during an interview she stated the she wasn’t a fan of the industry or acting. She retired in 1994 and then returned in 2001, but quit again in 2015. Now she’s the owner of a clothing store named Blue Tree in New York City.
