“Mindhunter” takes place in the late 1970s and early 1980s when criminal psychology and profiling in the FBI was still in its infancy. FBI agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench attempt to get inside the mind of a serial killer’s messed up head to figure out what his next move will be.
